Politics [04 Sep 2008|01:51pm] [ mood | disappointed ] Ick, I just made the mistake of reading the transcript of Palin's talk at the RNC last night. I know, I know, political speech, but wow. Seriously wow. Outright lies and slanders. Palin's speech on comes off dripping with hypocrisy. I can't believe Republicans are dumb enough to fall for that garbage, but they are. As a little-l libertarian it is really depressing. And yes, I know it is a speech to her base, meant to fire them up, and politicians as a whole could care less about truth, but still, I wish we could get an honest one, a forthright one, one with actual principles, just once. 9 comments|post comment
